Oregon Adaptive Sports

Oregon Adaptive Sports offers adaptive outdoor recreation programs for individuals with disabilities. Its year-round offerings include cycling programs with adaptive cycles, lessons, group rides, and community programs; paddling programs on lakes and waterways; golf programs for beginners and returning players; and adaptive mountain biking and gravel programs at varied locations. It also offers summer programs, Lake Day, Crank Camps for off-road hand cyclists, and support for adaptive athletes in the Cycle Oregon Road Rally.

About the provider

Oregon Adaptive Sports was created in 1996, when local community members came together to create access to adaptive ski opportunities. The organization states that it creates access to high-quality outdoor recreation experiences for individuals with disabilities, and it provides adaptive equipment and specialized equipment. Caretakers are welcome on any program free of charge to assist with clients’ needs during programming, and OAS is unable to provide personal care for any of its clients.
