Mariposas offers two programs: Mariposas Explorers for ages 3–4, and the Mariposas Bilingual Nature Program for ages 4–6. Mariposas Explorers meets Monday and Tuesday mornings, and the Bilingual Nature Program meets Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings.

About the provider
Mercedes Rumack is the founder and educator of Mariposas. Over the past four years, she has guided Mariposas Nature Preschool in Brookings, Oregon. Mariposas says it is a place where childhood is honored, and learning unfolds through connection, exploration, and real experience. It also says children are seen, respected, and supported as whole human beings. Enrollment is intentionally limited in both programs to preserve a small, calm, and deeply connected learning environment.
