Studio One Dance Academy offers weekly classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Tumbling, Lyrical, Contemporary and Break. The studio has a lobby with large viewing windows.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Summer 2026 registration is open, with classes running from July 2026 through August 15th; fall schedule registration opens July 15th, 2026.
Studio One Dance Academy has been serving the dance needs of the Clackamas, Milwaukie and Portland community for 32 years. The program offers classes for children as young as 3 years old and up, teens and adults, and can set up a class for a team or a group of friends upon request. The studio has a professional staff of instructors with sixty years of combined dance teaching experience and is dedicated to developing talent at both the recreational and competition level, providing every student a solid foundation for dance and helping every student to discover their strengths and to reach their own personal potential.
The lobby is closed to parents and family members other than dancers and staff on weeks that are not viewing weeks. During specified weeks, the lobby is open to guests for viewing through the large viewing windows, with a limit of two guests per dancer during these open window weeks. Parents or guardians of younger dancers ages 3–8 may walk their dancer into the lobby to help them check in with the front desk. Dancers are asked to arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of their class time.
If a dancer is experiencing any Covid, cold or flu-like symptoms, or has tested positive for Covid, they should stay home until feeling better. Masks are no longer required at this time. Dancers are asked to bring a water bottle and a dance bag to hold all shoes and clothes, and to bring only what is necessary and can fit in the bag.
