About the provider
Coquille Martial Arts opened in 2000. Jim Saxton and Karen Saxton lead the program, with Dane Saxton and Nikki Keller also mentioned as staff. The site states that Jim and Karen Saxton are in their 17th year of teaching and 22nd year of practicing martial arts, and that they have devoted their time to Coos County youth since 1992. The program states that it is accredited by Kukkiwon and the American Jidokwon Taekwondo Federation, affiliated with the United Hapkido Federation, and that Jim and Karen Saxton hold fifth degree black belt in Jidokwan Taekwondo and are 4th dan Kukkiwon. The mission statement says the program aims to promote martial arts in the community, show respect and honor to instructors, unite martial arts in one harmonious community, and make its martial arts family a cornerstone of that community.
No contracts. No gimmicks. Classes are open for enrollment at any time. Students progress at their own rate. Please refrain from applying scented products and perfumes.
