About

iINVENT is a one-week camp where participants apply science, technology, engineering, and math to create something that enhances the life of someone else. The program includes learning about invention and the innovation process using United States Patent and Trademark Office activities, working with OSU college students as invention mentors, and taking part in exclusive engineering design challenges and college connection events. Youth select a user for their invention project, meet fellow middle school inventors, and learn about Oregon State University while following applicable health and safety guidelines, with an expectation that they be welcoming and willing to “fail fast and learn fast in a supportive inclusive community.”
