About

McMinnville Community Tennis Association Youth Tennis Programs offers beginner and intermediate/advanced youth tennis programs, along with adult tennis programs. Youth lessons for grades K-8 cover basic playing skills, stroke techniques, court positioning, rules of the game, and beginning competition. Intermediate/Advanced Evening Clinics for grades 7-12 focus on continued skill and stroke development, advanced drills, strategies, and competition, and the program also offers Siblings Doubles Tournaments, Parent/Child Doubles Tournaments, and Adult Clinics.

• Schedule: Adult clinics are on Thursday evenings at Linfield beginning 5/21/26.

The McMinnville Community Tennis Association is a local non-profit organization established in 2021, with a mission to promote the growth of tennis in Yamhill County and a vision to create a sustainable organization that grows the sport of tennis in Yamhill County for all ages. It has offered tennis programming to over 200 youth each summer and offers scholarships. Participants are asked to bring a full water bottle and a racquet, and racquets are available for use for those who do not have one.

The leadership team includes Board Members Erica Anderson (secretary), Doug Barsotti (treasurer), Kourtney Bradley, Marianne Mills (vice chair), and Erin Stephenson (chair), with Executive Director Lisa Macy-Baker. Staff credentials include Mack, a Linfield University honors graduate and former standout collegiate and high school doubles player with extensive junior coaching experience; Tommy, a current player for the Linfield men’s tennis team; Maddie, a competitive tournament player who won the district doubles title twice and qualified for the state tournament all four years of high school; and Caroline, a two-time district doubles champion and state qualifier.
