Rogue Valley Family YMCA Youth Programs

Rogue Valley Family YMCA Youth Programs includes Summer Camp, Day Camp, Resident Camp (Overnight), Camp Somewhere (Overnight), Outdoor School (Day & Overnight), and Campus Connection. Day Camp is offered at local elementary schools with trips outdoors, and campers return home each afternoon. Outdoor School programs are booked directly with schools, and Campus Connection is for kindergarten through 6th grade.

• Outdoor School (Day & Overnight) — Kids · Located at the YMCA’s Elk Trail Outdoor School on the edge of Elk Creek in the Upper Rogue. These programs are booked directly with the schools.
• Campus Connection — Kindergarten through 6th grade · After school; school closure days

About the provider

The camp program has run since the summer of 1948. The Rogue Valley Family YMCA is supported by the community through dues, fees, and donations, and it partners with the Central Point, Eagle Point, and Phoenix-Talent School Districts to provide Campus Connection. Its mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

Scholarships are mentioned for camp programs. Campus Connection has a 1:15 staff-to-child ratio. No School Day Care is non-refundable once registered. Financial assistance for Campus Connection is available only to families currently enrolled in the Campus Connection afterschool program. Outdoor School programs are booked directly with the schools.
