Stronger Skatepark

Stronger Skatepark offers summer camp, group classes, lessons, open skate, a skateboard and scooter pro shop, free Wi‑Fi, a fingerboard park, specialty sessions, live music and events, and parties. Summer camp includes daily group circle-up, small-group instruction, and non-skating activities. Group classes include Skateboarding 101 and an Adult Skateboarding Class, and lessons are available for skateboarding, scootering, or roller skating.

Programs

• Summer Camp — 6-14 for On-Campus camps; 10-16 for Summer Travel Camps; exceptions can sometimes be made for younger campers with coach approval · Summer; On-Campus camps run 9am-3pm with aftercare available until 5pm; Travel Camp runs from 9am-4pm and kids are welcome to stay and skate at Stronger until 5pm
• Group Classes — recommended for ages 8+ for Skateboarding 101; adult class also offered; Quad Workshops have no age stated · Generally Sundays and Mondays; Skateboarding 101 on select Sunday and Saturday mornings; Adult Skateboarding Class weekly on Monday nights · Beginner-to-intermediate group classes with a low coach/student ratio, usually under 1:6.
• Lessons — any age · Mondays and select mornings before the park opens; available during open skate or other times by request · $75 per session · Semi-private lessons for skateboarding, scootering, or roller skating; up to three people at a time; one hour; $75 for the first participant and $30 for each additional.

About the provider

The park opened in 2019. The original street course, mini ramp, and micro mini ramp were built in 2019, the park expanded to the unit next door in 2021, and a mini bowl was donated in late 2022. Its mission is to create an inclusive space where people of all ability levels, ages, and identities can engage in action sports and connect with the local action sports community.

No previous experience is required for on-campus camps. On-campus camps are open to kids ages 6-14. Summer travel camps are open to kids ages 10-16, with exceptions sometimes made for younger campers with coach approval. Minimum camp size is 5 campers. Aftercare is available until 5pm during summer camps. Early drop-off begins at 8:45am. Parents are not allowed to stay during camp except in instances of highly anxious kids. Lessons have no age restrictions and have been done for kids as young as 2 and adults as old as 86. Lessons are semi-private and up to three people at a time.
