Western Oregon University Volleyball Camps offer an Elite/Prospect ID Camp that focuses on volleyball instruction and playing competitive volleyball. Campers train like the Western Oregon University volleyball team and receive instruction that goes beyond the basics. The camp is designed for those with prior volleyball experience and the desire to play volleyball at the collegiate level, and prior volleyball experience is recommended.
• Ages: 8th–12th grades
• Schedule: July 31–Aug. 2, with times that vary each day
• Price: Commuter: $350; Overnight: $400; early registration discounts of $50 off for sign-ups before May 31; sign-ups on and after June 3 are full price
Registration for 2025 Western Oregon University Volleyball Camps is open, with a maximum of 60 campers. The Elite/Prospect ID Camp runs from July 31 to Aug. 2, with a sample schedule that includes multiple daily sessions, meals for overnight campers, and check-in for overnight campers on July 31 from 12:30–1:30pm. Overnight campers stay in dorms and receive all listed meals, while commuter campers do not stay overnight, do not receive meals, and are required to bring their own snacks, lunch, and dinner. All campers are encouraged to eat together, and campers will receive more information about what to bring and a meal schedule (for overnight campers) before the camp start date.
Athletes at this camp receive instruction from Western Oregon University volleyball staff, and the camp leadership includes Coach Kaiao (contact email: [email protected]). The camp’s stated goals are for campers to expand on their volleyball skills, experience life on Western Oregon University’s campus, and have fun while playing competitive volleyball. Each camper receives a camp T-shirt as part of registration. The program offers team registration discounts for teams with 5 or more players from the same high school, and teams registering 10 or more players from the same high school may be eligible for an additional discount. Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender.
