Monroe Arts Association Classes and Events

Monroe Arts Association Classes and Events offers activities such as Mosaic Mondays, a Needle Felting Class, and Thursday night Pictionary nights. The Needle Felting Class is scheduled for December 6th, and Thursday nights are Pictionary nights with a Pictionary “Wall of Shame.” Mosaic Mondays classes start on Mondays in March.

Monroe Arts Association Classes and Events is run by an Executive Director, Kathy Heintz, a Gallery Manager, Trischa Goodnow, and a Gift Shop Manager, Robin Owen. The organization states that the Community Open is open in the Gallery and that there is a Gift Shop. Its mission is to support diverse rural artists and unite the community by providing a variety of creative opportunities for artistic engagement. It is dedicated to serving the interests of rural local artists and encouraging a vital, creative community, and it seeks to socially and economically elevate the lives and artistic endeavors of rural communities by inspiring artful expression in all forms regardless of age, income or skill level. Monroe Arts Association is recognized as a tax-exempt nonprofit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and has a Non-Discrimination Policy covering race, political orientation, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, ethnicity, ancestry, marital status, veteran status, or mental or physical disability or any other status prohibited by applicable law. One of its unique events is the 2025 Art-A-Thon fundraiser, which raised $1500.
