• Schedule: Winter/Spring Friday Enrichment January 9th – June 5th
Neskowin Valley School was founded over 50 years ago and is an accredited, independent Preschool–Grade 8 school. The school describes itself as an experiential and non-traditional school that prepares students to thrive in an ever-changing world. It features small class sizes, multi-age classes, integration of subject matter, a comprehensive approach to literacy, and individualized, varied approaches to education. The school values outdoor and experiential learning and includes place-based projects that immerse students in the extensive natural areas of the Oregon Coast.
Active participation of parents or guardians is described as essential to the character of the school, and all parents are members of the NVS Family Alliance. The NVS Family Alliance supports special projects and raises a portion of the operating budget through fundraising events such as the annual Harvest Festival. Parents, community members, and stakeholders are invited to attend the Neskowin Valley School Board Meeting.
