Rock & Roll Camp includes guitar classes, rock & roll learning, and time for writing and performing original music. Campers take part in activities such as rock journalism, making a camp blog, putting together concerts, recording songs, putting together a camp zine, generating video for YouTube, setting up sound systems, and designing and making band merchandise. Loaner instruments and equipment are available, including guitars (acoustic and electric), basses, amps, ukuleles, and drum kits.

• Schedule: Five daily sessions, Monday through Friday, with an additional Friday evening Showcase Concert on Main Street
• Price: Rock & Roll Camp is absolutely FREE, including lunch each day and a free camp t-shirt; It’s FREE for teens 13–18; Always FREE Admission

Rock & Roll Camp is taught by teachers from West Coast indie bands. A staff of working artists provides gallery tours and age-appropriate, hands-on projects. Campers can also work with a music editor from Willamette Week on rock journalism. Rock & Roll Camp XXI is referenced as part of the ongoing program.

The Arts Council of Pendleton provides opportunities for creative expression and community connection through experiences, education and advocacy in the arts. The Arts Council of Pendleton is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Rock & Roll Camp is made possible by support from organizations, businesses, and individuals including the Ford Family Foundation, PGE Foundation, Herbert A. Templeton Foundation, Robert and Marcia Randall Charitable Trust, Umatilla County Cultural Coalition, Les Paul Foundation, Elkhorn Media Group, Great Pacific – Wine & Coffee Co., Trish Wilkins, Legacy Ford La Grande, Knights Inn, Sodexo, Grocery Outlet, City of Pendleton, Main Street Cowboys, Pendleton Parks & Recreation, Sherwood Elementary School, First Christian Church, and Zimm Sound. The Arts Council of Pendleton serves Umatilla County and receives support from community members, individuals, and local businesses through sponsorships and donations.
