Scio Youth Club provides sports programs for students in Pre-K through 6th grade in Scio. Fall sports include volleyball, soccer, and football; winter sports include basketball; and spring sports include volleyball, T-ball, coach pitch, baseball, and softball. All coaches, including assistant coaches, must complete a coaching application and a coaches code of conduct form, and must submit a background check form to the district office before being approved to coach. The mission of Scio Youth Club is to provide a safe place to spend time after school and during summer with opportunities for recreation, education, and physical activity, using the contributions of adult role models in teaching the values of scholarship, creativity, sportsmanship, and community service. The leadership team includes President Vince Eaton, Secretary Kylie Stillman, Treasurer Megan Frizzell, Board Members Misty Heil, Heather Tritt, Jake Stillman, Chris Kilmurray, Tom Carlson, and Amber Kutsch, with Amber Kutsch also serving as Club Director (Executive Director/Athletic Director).
