For more than 100 years, Prepared. For Life. has been Scouting America’s promise to parents and youth across America. The Cascade Pacific Council states a goal to become the most impactful youth organization in its region, to be known as a force for good, and to build stronger communities and leaders of tomorrow. The camps are described as award-winning camps. Certifications like CPR/First Aid are available, and all staff, whether full-time or volunteer, must complete online training before arrival, with additional hands-on training provided. No prior knowledge of Scouting is needed and applicants do not have to be members to apply, and if hired, all staff—volunteer or paid—become members of Scouting America as part of onboarding. Adult applicants age 18 and older must pass a background check.
