Camp Dakota Camping & Adventures

Camp Dakota Family Camping & Adventures offers 3-hour programs with archery and tomahawk throwing, a rock climbing wall, a scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, disc golf, and gold panning. Other 3-hour options include gellyball or paintball games, an aerial challenge course, 6 zip lines, and combinations of archery, tomahawk throwing, and rock climbing. Four-hour and full-day options also include 6 zip lines, a 10 zip line tour, paintball or gellyball games, and the aerial challenge course.

Programs

• Adventure Programs for groups — youth / student group age range requested · 3-hour, 4-hour, or full-day programs; must be reserved at least 7 days in advance; not available on Saturdays or Sundays May 1st thru Sept 30 · Available to non-profit organizations, schools, youth organizations, etc.; groups of 8 or more; must be completed together as a group during the time allotted; subject to availability.
• Program 1 — 3 hours · $35 per day · 20+ participants. Archery / Tomahawk Throwing Range, Rock Climbing Wall, Scavenger Hunt, Arts & Crafts, Disc Golf, Gold Panning.
• Program 2 — 3 hours · $35 per day · 15+ participants; add $100 additional fee for less than 15 participants. Gellyball or Paintball session includes necessary equipment and paintballs or gellyballs.
• Program 3 — 3 hours · $50 per day · 8+ participants. Aerial Challenge Course, Archery / Tomahawk Throwing Range Session, Rock Climbing Wall Session.
• Program 4 — 3 hours · $85 per day · 8+ participants. 6 Zip lines, Archery / Tomahawk Throwing Range, Rock Climbing Wall.
• Program 5 — 4 hours · $100 per day · 8+ participants. Aerial Challenge Course, 6 Zip Lines.
• Program 6 — 4 hours · $100 per day · 8+ participants. 6 Zip Lines, Gellyball or Paintball games.
• Program 7 — 4 hours · $105 per day · 8+ participants. 10 Zip Line Tour, Archery / Tomahawk Range, Rock Climbing Wall.

About the provider

Camp Dakota property was first purchased in 1969. Camp Dakota opened with the first 10 unimproved campsites in October 1998.

Open to the public by reservation year round. Located in the Western Cascade foothills about an hour from Portland or Salem Oregon. Contact page lists office phone hours as 8 AM - 6 PM / 7 days, winter hours 8 - 5. Winter activity hours 10AM - 5PM Saturdays / Sundays appointments required.
