Mt. Hood Camp focuses on skills development through the use of drills, technical free skiing, and both SL and GS gate training. Campers take part in video analysis, learn how to tune, and have conditioning and nutrition as part of their training. The camp is open to U12s to U14s, with boarding options for U14 and older campers and day camp options for U12 and younger campers.

Boarding campers (U14 and older) have lodging, meals, transportation, lift passes, training fees, video analysis, and activities included. Day campers (U12 and younger) have lift passes, training fees, video analysis, and activities included. There will be a chaperoned flight with coaches from Boston, MA to Portland, OR, and campers must arrange their tickets on this flight. The camp will be led by Naga Kusumi, MMA Head U14 Coach, along with MMA coaches.
Mt. Hood Camp is part of Mt. Mansfield Academy, which was founded in 1934. The ambition of Mt. Mansfield Academy is to provide the support and direction necessary for each young person to achieve their personal potential, goals and dreams. Mt. Mansfield Academy reports that its program has produced NCAA champions, US Ski Team members, and Olympic medalists. Its academic program has produced AP Scholar award winners and National Merit Scholarship finalists, and it is one of a select group of high schools in Vermont to offer the AP Capstone Diploma program. The school reports a 100% college acceptance rate for its students and describes itself as one of the oldest skiing organizations in America, with the original Mt. Mansfield Ski Club created to cut trails and promote skiing. Stowe Mountain Resort and Mt. Mansfield Academy have announced an expansion of their partnership to boost ski racing excellence.
