Oregon Coast Dance Center

Oregon Coast Dance Center offers classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tumbling, Musical Theater, Adult Jazz, Hula, and Contemporary. The program includes a dedicated Tumbling room with a 2" foam floor and a variety of tumbling equipment, along with two dance rooms that have mirrors, barres, and a floating dance floor.

Oregon Coast Dance Center was founded in 1975 as the Patrician School of Dance by Pat Hawkins and was purchased by current owner Lisa Greiner in 2013. The leadership team includes Lisa as Owner and Director, Elliana as Front Desk Manager, and instructors Lynda, Paige, and Bonnie. The studio’s mission states that it is committed to being a studio of excellence and providing high quality dance training and discipline in a judgement free and family friendly environment, and that it focuses on teaching more than just dance, teaching lessons that last a lifetime. The mission also states that students learn life skills, discipline, respect, and teamwork, and that the studio strives to inspire students and prepare them for their next chapter in life. Lisa is Tillamook’s only Dance Masters of America, Acrobatic Arts, and Progressing Ballet Technique certified teacher, and she is a Dance Masters of America graduate and active member, an Acrobatic Arts certified instructor, a Progressing Ballet Technique certified instructor, a The Ellové Technique certified instructor, a founding board member of Oregon Dance Education Organization, and a National Dance Education Organization member. Lynda has an AA in Theatrical Jazz Dance. Oregon Coast Dance Center offers dance to Tillamook County.
