City of Umatilla Parks and Recreation Programs offers activities such as flag football, Movies in the Park, WaterPalooza, a Community Yard Sale Series, Umatilla Parks & Jr. Golf Camp, Bunco Game Nights, and a Saturday Market & Concert Series. The program also includes UMATILLA’S NATIONAL NIGHT OUT.

• Schedule: Office hours Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (closed holidays)

The department’s leadership team includes Parks & Recreation Director Esmeralda Perches; Parks & Recreation Manager Luke Romero; and Parks & Recreation Coordinators Carrie Holmes, Brody Bowman, and Kimberly Macias. The mission of the City of Umatilla Parks and Recreation Department is to provide high quality, affordable, diverse recreational opportunities that are accessible to all residents of Umatilla, and to provide public spaces and services that promote community connections and healthy lifestyles. National Night Out is described as being about building safer neighborhoods by strengthening police-community partnerships. Movies in the Park offers free popcorn, WaterPalooza is a free community event, and the Saturday Market & Concert Series features local vendors, community vibes, and live music.
