Seashore Family Literacy Programs is dedicated to helping children, adults, and families improve reading, writing, math, computer, and communication skills. The organization works in partnership with the Greater South Lincoln County Community. Its Green Bikes program provides free bicycles for anyone to ride, along with vocational training and volunteer opportunities, and was created by Seashore Family Literacy as a way to promote good health and recreation. DaNoble House focuses on literacy support for children and adults, the Center for Learning is used for a wide range of activities, programs, and weekly community dinners, and Joy Community Gardens serves as a community garden and outdoor classroom with fresh produce, a gathering space, a learning zone, and a natural play area. A Fruit and Veggie Stand is planned for Summer 2016, and the organization receives no government funding and runs on donations.

One volunteer, Linda, says, “I volunteer because I enjoy helping people in our community. It's amazing when people leave, they've got a smile on their face, they feel better, and it brings a sense of accomplishment.” A local resident, Robby, shares, “One year ago my family and I were homeless. I didn't have a job. I didn't have a lot going for me. Senitila and the volunteers at Seashore changed everything.”
