Warm Springs Boys & Girls Club

Warm Springs Boys & Girls Club offers childcare, summer camp, and after school activities that include homework help, a game room, art, special events, and sports. The program runs year-round with both school-year childcare and a summer program.

The Warm Springs Boys & Girls Club is led by Unit Director June Smith. The extended site opened in January 2014. The mission states that the Club keeps kids safe, provides them with resources to accomplish their homework, lets them play, and instills values focused on leadership, character and friendship. The Club partners with various tribal departments on different activities throughout the year. Programs target specific age groups, focus on healthy habits such as basic nutrition and exercise, and include prevention programs such as mentoring, anti-bullying, and tobacco, alcohol and drug-related activities. Club kids receive nutritious, hot meals and healthy snacks. Programs encourage growth in Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Character and Leadership Development and are delivered by trained, caring professionals and volunteers. The Warm Springs Boys & Girls Club serves over 150 youth annually as an extended site in Warm Springs, Oregon.
