Camp Cooper offers rustic camping with activities such as a self-guided nature trail, hiking, fishing, and campfires. The camp includes access to a waterfall, wild berries, and fishing on Lake Hurl, and operates with support from an on-site Camp Ranger and a volunteer Campmaster crew on weekends. The property covers 240 acres and is part of a larger forested setting.

Camp Cooper was acquired in 1932. The camp is part of the Cascade Pacific Council of Scouting America, which serves more than 7,000 kids and teens in 19 counties of northwest Oregon and southwest Washington. The Ranger at Camp Cooper is Aaron Yoder.
