About
Camp Lakewood offers a variety of hands-on activities, including hiking, fishing, boating and water play, archery, stream exploration, crafts and songs, scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, and gardening and building projects. Campers take part in lessons and activities that are described as hands-on, creative, and engaging each day.
• Schedule: Campers attend Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Camp Lakewood’s activities are described as being designed to encourage team building, nature identification, tracking, skill-building, and problem-solving. Snacks and water are provided, and campers are required to bring their own lunch. IN-PERSON signups are scheduled for Tuesday, March 18th, from 4–7 p.m., and Thursday, March 19th, from 4–7 p.m. at the Hopewell Township Building on the 2nd floor, and in-person signups are for one week of camp per camper. A waiting list is available by contacting Brad with the camper’s name, age, phone number, shirt size, and desired camp week, and Brad is listed as the contact for Camp Lakewood and the registration process at [email protected] or 724-462-6236.
