About
Community Music School Summer Camps offer a range of music activities, including piano, violin, ukulele, music and film production, and rock band performance. Camp options include Musical Minis, Intro to Violin Camp, Intro to Piano Camp, Build-Your-Own Ukulele Camp, Intro to Music Production, Music & Film Lab, and the House Band Summer Intensive, along with private music lessons, group classes, performance ensembles, and Kindermusik with Sing N Move.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: One-day, one-week, and multi-week camps, with specific options such as four-week Musical Minis, one-week intro camps for violin, piano, and ukulele, a multi-week Intro to Music Production class from June 23 to July 28, a two-week Music & Film Lab, and a five-week House Band Summer Intensive
Community Music School has more than 40 years of experience providing high-quality music education and is a non-profit charitable education organization. Professional, experienced teachers with background checks and clearances provide individualized instruction in piano, strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and voice, with lessons offered both in-person and online. The school’s mission is to provide the inspiration and opportunity for anyone in its diverse community to achieve excellence in music education and appreciate the transformative power of music. Thanks to support from its philanthropic community, the school offers financial aid, merit scholarships, tuition-free outreach programming, free performance opportunities, and professional photo and video recording for performances, and students in the Allentown School District may be able to attend summer camp at CMS for free. The campus includes a recording studio, a state-of-the-art recording studio used for music production instruction, and a state-of-the-art audio and video recording studio used for film creation.
