About

Children's and Youth Workshops at the John James Audubon Center take place at a state-of-the-art visitor center and historic house in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. During the program, participants can spend time in the Fledgling Field nature play area, explore extensive hiking trails, and visit the Mill Grove historic house, which was John James Audubon's first American home. The program also gives participants access to exhibits such as The Birds of America and provides binoculars to borrow, bathrooms, and group meeting space for workshop activities.

The mission of the organization running Children's and Youth Workshops at the John James Audubon Center is: “We protect birds and the places they need in Maryland, Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, and throughout the hemisphere.”
