About

IDEAS Summer Camps offers a mix of daily activities that can include an inflatable waterslide, a dunk tank, a daily water slide, daily instructional swimming, and 2–3 sports or games per day. Campers can take part in programs such as Star Wars Jedi Academy, Incredible Inventors, Artful Antics, Ultimate Drone Racing, Robot X Games, and StemQuest, along with traditional sports and time on an interactive playground. The program also includes options that feature Roblox and Minecraft with new weekly themes, as well as robotics, design, coding, digital media, esports, and programming.

• Ages: 3–13 years old

IDEAS Summer Camps is designed as a traditional day camp for Grades Pre-K to 2 and as an art, science, and technology-based program for Grades 3–8, with new weekly themes and a variety of technology, engineering, sports, arts, innovation, movement, and hands-on, project-based, experiential learning. The program includes discovery-based activities with plenty of screen breaks and emphasizes confidence, self-expression, empathy, self-esteem, interpersonal skills, real world application, life skills, and embracing the power of story through PEAK learning opportunities, WOW experiences, and engaging moments. Campers can enroll in one week or for the entire summer, with flexible scheduling, weekly enrollment limited per age group, and weekly enrollment limited overall to maintain a safe and intimate camp environment.

The program includes extended care and snack at no additional charge for Day Camp (ages 3–6) and Extended Care, with extended care always complimentary and described as a $150 value. Additional features include curbside service, low-ratio adult-led staff, and a stated focus that safety is the top priority, with all medical and allergy details procedures covered. The staff team is adult-led, completes a 360° background check, and participates in a 30+ hour pre-camp training program.

Since 1997, the company behind IDEAS Summer Camps has been delivering creative summer camps nationwide to more than 300,000 students. The IDEAS Summer Camps philosophy and approach to teaching is based on enrichment with a primary focus on experimentation, confidence-building, positivity, and character building.

Parents describe the camp as a place their children want to return to week after week for new themes and mention that it combines traditional and STEM-focused activities with time outside and away from screens. Several parents note that their children talk about camp at home, are eager to attend each day, and reference specific elements such as drone racing, day camp for younger children, life lessons, and daily instructional swimming. One parent highlights that free extended care fits their schedule, and another mentions that their 4-year-old twins are learning a lot in daily instructional swimming and enjoy the camp mascot, Ozzie.
