Camp Swatara Summer Camp Programs include options such as Day Camp, Beginners, Youth Musical, Mountainside, and Monarch Camps for adults with intellectual disabilities. Campers have access to over 5 miles of hiking trails, a splash pad, a shared olympic-sized swimming pool, a 4-acre lake for boating or fishing, and mini golf. Campers can stay in rustic cabins or use tent or RV sites.

Camp Swatara’s leadership team includes Tim Courtright as Executive Director, Alexander Nye as Interim Program Manager, Gerald Sutyak as Food Service Manager, Janelle Rebman as Office Manager, Liam Maguire as Family Campground Manager, Nathan Dieter as Housekeeping Manager, and Nathan Foster as Properties Assistant Manager. The camp’s mission statement says that Camp Swatara provides opportunities in the natural setting for persons of all ages to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, so that they may give their lives for Him in total discipleship. In addition to summer camp programs, the camp offers activities and events such as Outdoor Education, Movie Night in the Campground, a Car Show, Glow Mini Golf, a Labor Day Auction, an RC Show featuring remote control planes, cars, and boats, a Fall Festival, Pumpkin Painting, a Contributors' Dinner, and a Disc Golf Space Race.
