Reality Tour is an interactive drug prevention program for parents and youth. The program includes activities that focus on leadership and social skills as part of a community-based, parent-child prevention experience. It is a replicable prevention program that serves school districts and is sustainable and affordable.

Reality Tour started out in 2003 and has a proven sustainable 20-year history. The program is an evidence-based prevention program that has impacted over 55,000 parents and children. It equips families to understand the teen brain and today’s risks together and allows teens the opportunity to address peer pressure and mental health concerns unique to their community.
The mission of Reality Tour states that communities need an effective and sustainable drug prevention program and that it unites communities to reduce risk factors for youth substance abuse by re-purposing existing resources. The mission also states that parents are the most powerful prevention tool and that they need the support of their communities. The Reality Tour program brings parents, students, schools, local law enforcement, and community volunteers together.
Reality Tour is led by Becky Perkovich, Tour Director. The program has received a Best Practice Award. It is described as the most comprehensive, continually updated program to meet ever-changing drug trends and is always current with drug trends and never outdated.
