Bloomsburg Children's Museum Summer Camps

Bloomsburg Children's Museum Summer Camps take place at The Bloomsburg Children’s Museum and include themed options such as the Rock On! Geology Summer Camp. Campers take part in activities connected to the museum’s hands-on interactive exhibits and programming.

Founded in May 1984, The Bloomsburg Children’s Museum has operated at its permanent physical location in Bloomsburg since 2002 and has sponsored an Art and Science Center since 1996. The museum’s mission is to enrich the lives of people in the region by fostering a lifelong love of learning through enjoyable interactive programs and exhibits that bring out the imagination of every child and the child in every visitor. The museum features over 50 hands-on interactive exhibits and offers year-round interactive exhibits, curated programming, and community outreach that encourage exploration of the sciences, arts, and humanities. It offers access programs including Yes to the Future, Museums for All, All Abilities Night, and Culture Café that provide equitable and inclusive access and accessible learning experiences. The museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit.

The museum responds to community needs through partnerships with regional schools and community-based organizations and primarily draws visitors from ten surrounding counties. It has also developed traveling hands-on museum exhibits that serve 17 school districts in the five-county Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit area.
