Sesame•Rockwood Camps includes activities in aquatics, art and other arts, athletics, outdoor adventures, clubs and electives, community service, and trips and adventures. The program also includes transportation, lunch and snacks, special events, theme days and weeks, extended nights, Color War, and camp traditions.
• Ages: 3–16 years old
Sesame Day Camp is home to campers ages 3 through 7 and is specifically designed for campers who are generally in Pre-K through entering 2nd grade. Camp Rockwood is the summer home for campers ages 8 through 14 who are generally entering 3rd through 9th grades, and campers there can choose activities that interest them in addition to the four major areas of aquatics, athletics, arts, and outdoor adventures. Rockwood Adventures Teen Travel is teen travel for grades 6th–9th and is also described as designed for teens entering 6th through 10th grade, and it includes trips to locations and attractions around the country where campers learn independence, compromise, and individual responsibility without interrupting the fun.
Sesame•Rockwood Camps is owned and directed by Howard and Dale Batterman, with Susan Pulkowski as Office Manager and Marcia Kline as Enrollment Coordinator. The program is American Camp Association accredited. Sesame•Rockwood Camps is affiliated with Diamond Ridge Camps and Diamond Ridge Conference Center and The Wonderkey School. The camps have hosted Bob Kelly from FOX 29 for Color War 2016.
