King's View Acres

King's View Acres offers riding lessons that include learning to properly care for the horses and attend to the horses’ needs. The program follows an educationally based, safe, whole horsemanship approach with lessons that advance as riders grow and are shaped by a carefully designed curriculum and thoughtful horse selection. The facility includes a beautiful indoor arena and is described as professionally run with a family atmosphere and a friendly, no-drama setting where clients are free to learn and enjoy the horses in a supportive, stress-free environment.

Lessons at King's View Acres are described as part of a whole horsemanship facility that is more than a boarding operation and uses an educationally based approach to lifelong learning. The program’s mission is to enrich the lives of its students through horses by building skills and character that will last a lifetime. Leadership is provided by Ellen Heckert, who is the creator and instructor and a Co-Owner of King's View Acres. Ellen Heckert states that she strives to be a part of the village that helps to raise the youth in this community. The program also aims to provide a safe, happy, stimulating place for children when parents or guardians are unavailable.
