About

Brandywine Battlefield Summer Camp includes hands-on activities, visits from historical characters, exciting games, and colonial crafts. Campers march like a Continental soldier, strategize to protect their home, deliver critical intelligence to Washington or to the British army, and play capturing the flag. Campers also take part in activities such as becoming blacksmith apprentices, learning to paint like the renowned Howard Pyle, and creating their own paper, and they are given a folder to hold the work they have completed to take home at the end of the week.
