Chambersburg Memorial YMCA Youth Programs offers a Girls Basketball Summer Sport Camp. The camp includes sessions for participants in grades 2–6 and grades 7–12.

For nearly 160 years, the Chambersburg Memorial YMCA has been listening and responding to its communities. The leadership team for Chambersburg Memorial YMCA Youth Programs includes Amir Tasker, Daniel Flores, Zach Stinson, Velva Morris and Barb Montgomery, and Grandmaster Tommy Thompson. The organization states a mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all, and describes itself as a community fellowship of youth and adults united by a common loyalty to Jesus Christ for the purpose of developing the spiritual, mental, physical, and social lives of youth, families, and communities. The YMCA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit social services organization dedicated to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Chambersburg Memorial YMCA is a membership organization open to all people and states that it welcomes and values women and men, girls and boys of all ages, races, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientation, abilities, and financial circumstances, and that its association and program services embrace diversity, reflecting the needs and composition of the Greater Chambersburg Area communities it serves. The Sam’s Legacy Program continues as an outreach program for underserved families in the community.
