Haverford Area Summer Camp

Greater Philadelphia YMCA Summer Camp offers art projects, nature exploration, swimming, sports, and field trips. Y campers take part in these activities under the trained supervision of caring camp staff. Summer camp registration is open, and families can choose from a wide variety of traditional and specialty camp options, including Camp Speers YMCA as an overnight camp where kids can unplug and connect to nature, fun, and new friendships. Y values of respect, responsibility, caring, and honesty are woven into everything at Camp Speers YMCA.

YMCA trained and certified instructors provide swim lessons as part of the program’s swimming activities. In 2025, the Greater Philadelphia YMCA provided over $46,000,000 in financial assistance, distributed meals to the community, and provided access and opportunities to struggling families.
