Joshua Generation is a two-week, teen-missions summer program where students take part in hip-hop dance, evangelistic drama, sports, conversation, games, worship, and small groups. During the program, students learn a hip-hop dance and an evangelistic drama and use these in various settings. The program is broken into two parts called Bootcamp and Outreach.
• Ages: 12–18 years old
• Schedule: Two-week, teen-missions program in the summer
Bootcamp week is structured similar to a summer camp, with times of teaching, games, worship, and small groups. During Outreach, students are divided into 5–6 teams and sent out to work alongside local churches to share the Gospel in their communities. Five teams stay stateside throughout the Northeast and one team travels to El Salvador, where teams perform their dance and drama and share the love of Jesus in parks and plazas throughout these cities. The program’s mission statement is: “Our world desperately needs the powerful message of Jesus and this next generation is responding. With the right tools, opportunities, and support, they will impact the world.”
