Pinebrook is a Christian retreat center that provides Christian church, ministry, business, and family groups with lodging, meeting space, and meals. Accommodations include comfortable lodging, buffet-style dining, and a variety of indoor and outdoor recreation for groups. Pinebrook can host groups of various sizes, with meeting rooms that accommodate 20–440 people and overall capacity for up to 462 people, plus an outdoor amphitheater that seats 200 people.

This ministry began in 1933 as Pinebrook Bible Conference for young people and has continued for over 85 years. In 1968, the Bible Fellowship Church took over stewardship of Pinebrook, and Spruce Lake became the steward on October 17, 2018. Pinebrook is dedicated to Christian service in the Anabaptist tradition, with a foundational belief that the life and teachings of Jesus are central and that Jesus is the Creator, Savior, Lord, and Sustainer of life. The mission states that Pinebrook offers attentive service in the spirit of gracious hospitality so guests can rest, have fun, pray in solitude, and draw closer to God and to each other, and Spruce Lake is committed to the ongoing mission of “Pointing People Toward Christ” on Pinebrook grounds.
The leadership team includes Stephanie Gehman (Chief Executive Officer), Mark Swartley (Chief Financial Officer), Jonathan Tice (Spruce Lake Director), Richard Brewer (Pinebrook Director), Gordy Martin (Vice President of Sales), Julie Siegfried (Human Resource Director), Brian Brawley (Food Service Director), Dave Trout (Advancement), Kathy Bergey (Finance Manager), and Steve Ykema (Facilities Director). Each year, Pinebrook hosts churches, organizations, and groups for custom retreats, conferences, and events, including Summer Bible Conferences, SnoGlo youth retreats, leadership training events for pastors, elders, and deacons, and the annual conference of Bible Fellowship Church.
