South Hills Children’s Choir

South Hills Children’s Choir offers Canticle, Concordia, Cadenza, and a Summer singing camp. Canticle is for ages 8-10 and meets Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:00 pm during the season, Concordia is for ages 11-13 and meets Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:30 pm during the season, and Cadenza is for ages 14-18 and meets Thursdays from 6:15 to 8:00 pm during the season. The Summer singing camp is for youth ages 8-18 and runs Wednesday, July 8 to Friday, July 10 from 9am-2pm.

About the provider

South Hills Children’s Choir is a non-profit youth community choir that provides quality music education and artistic excellence through a variety of choral experiences and performances. Its mission statement says the choir enriches singers through personal and social growth and promotes discipline and accomplishment through musical skill. The choir also performs in the community and abroad, including Carnegie Hall, Canterbury Cathedral, Phipps Conservatory, PPG Wintergarten, The Frick House, farmer’s markets, The Pirates, The Wild Things, Penguins Game, and The Riverhounds.

No Audition Required for Canticle. Audition required for Concordia and Cadenza. Concordia and Cadenza meet during the season. Registration for the camp will be live in April. Currently rehearsing at Peter’s Creek EPC, 250 Brookwood Road, Venetia, PA 15367.
