Skybacher More Than Sports Camps

Skybacher More Than Sports Camps offers six week-long sports day camps: More Than Basketball, More Than Soccer Camp, Flag Football/Ultimate Tag, More Than Basketball II, More Than Soccer II, and More Than Playground. The camps include basketball skills and faith, soccer games and a slip-n-slide, football skills with tag, and playground activities.

• Flag Football/Ultimate Tag — Children and teens entering Kindergarten through 8th grade · June 22-25, 2026; 9a-noon; Mon-Thur · Incorporates football skills and a favorite playground game of tag; theme: Be Strong
• More Than Basketball II — Children and teens entering Kindergarten through 8th grade · June 29-July 2, 2026; 9a-noon; Mon-Thur · Another session; theme: Double Portion
• More Than Soccer II — Children and teens entering Kindergarten through 8th grade · July 13-16, 2026; 9a-noon; Mon-Thur · Another session; theme: Double Portion

About the provider

The program says this summer was its 19th year and that it has been doing this for over 20 years. The leadership team is John J. Mohrbacher, Executive Director, and Tyler Mohrbacher, Summer Program Director. Its mission is to teach athletic skills, Biblical principals, and celebrate the summer with joy, while providing an environment where students enjoy sport and play but feel accepted through intentional interactions.

For our camps students do not need to have any experience in the sports for the week.
