Champions at Freeland Elementary/Middle School offers before- and after-school time where children take part in art, dramatic play, math, science, problem-solving, language, and motor skills activities. The program also includes homework help and outdoor play as part of the daily routine. Kids ages 5–12 receive homework help and outdoor play anytime school is out.

• Schedule: Before- and after-school options during the 2025/2026 school year, with hours from 6:30 AM–8:30 AM and 3:10 PM–6:00 PM
• Price: 2025/2026 School Year Before-School: 1 day: $20 per week; 2 days: $35 per week; 3 days: $45 per week; 4–5 days: $55 per week. After-School: 1 day: $20 per week; 2 days: $35 per week; 3 days: $55 per week; 4 days: $70 per week; 5 days: $80 per week. 2026/2027 School Year Before-School: 1 day: $25 per week; 2 days: $40 per week; 3 days: $50 per week; 4–5 days: $60 per week. After-School: 1 day: $25 per week; 2 days: $40 per week; 3 days: $60 per week; 4 days: $75 per week; 5 days: $85 per week. Additional Fees: Registration: $60 per student or $100 per family. Early Release: $10. Drop-In Fee: $20 per day. Discounts: Multi-Child, Military, or School District Employee: 10%.
Teachers and staff at Champions at Freeland Elementary/Middle School undergo extensive training on health and safety practices, including pandemic-response protocols. They are trained in first aid and CPR and are trained in child development, early childhood education, or a related field. Criminal background checks are conducted on staff.
Champions states that it has a solution for busy working families that combines activities with fun and learning, along with the safety and convenience of a program located inside the school. The program includes a variety of group and individual activities, and subsidy is accepted. Financial assistance and tuition discounts may be available, including employer, sibling, military, and public programs.
Only authorized staff and families may enter sites, and strict pick-up and drop-off procedures include sign-in/sign-out and photo identification. All sites include smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, and each site has an emergency evacuation plan that is tested frequently. A National Support Center crisis team supports each center during and after emergencies. A wellness screening is located near the Family Communication Area. Supervised outdoor play takes place on outdoor play spaces described as safe and secure. Strict medication administration policies are in place, including a requirement of a doctor's note for any medication for children under age 2. Most sites offer breakfast, lunch, and snacks, with menus that satisfy applicable federal and state nutrition guidelines where meal service is provided.
