Camp Thompson

Camp Thompson serves kids ages 5-16. Camp Thompson Day Camp is for ages 6-12 and includes one special week of day camp, with campers riding a bus from the Carlisle Family YMCA to Camp Thompson. Camp Thompson After Dark is for ages 6-11 and is an additional overnight experience for campers enrolled in Camp Thompson Day Camp during the specified week.

• Camp Thompson — Kids ages 5-16

• YMCA L.I.T. (Leader in Training) program — Teens age 15 · Leadership program for teens. Over two immersive weeks, campers build skills like time management, activity planning, public speaking, teamwork and more.

About the provider

Camp Thompson has nearly a century of memories. The camp lists accreditation from the American Camping Association. The Carlisle Family YMCA also thanks Capital Blue Cross Blue Shield for support of its summer camp programs.

Camp Thompson Day Camp sessions June 29 - July 2, 2026 (no camp July 3rd). Camp Thompson After Dark is only for campers enrolled in Camp Thompson Day Camp during the week of June 30-July 2. Camp Thompson After Dark has limited space and an additional $30 fee during sign up. The L.I.T. program has an application process. Camp Thompson Day Camp one-time fee of $30 for After Dark is stated on the page.
