Saucon Valley Community Center has served the borough of Hellertown, PA and the surrounding municipalities since 1971, providing programs and services for over 50 years. The organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to identify the needs of the community and to service those needs through social and educational programs. SVCC is governed by a board of directors of 7 volunteers and offers a variety of events in the Saucon Valley area, along with many volunteer opportunities.
SVCC is licensed in Pennsylvania to provide childcare services to children as young as 18 months old, and its facility complies with all facility and staffing requirements mandated by the state. Its childcare programs are recognized by the Keystone STARS initiative, a continuous quality improvement program that is part of the Early Learning Keys to Quality initiative. Over 65% of staff have completed or are enrolled in an early childhood degree program or a related field of study.

The summer recreation program offers programs for children ages 6–12 who reside in Upper Saucon, Lower Saucon, and Hellertown.
