Where the Wild Things Play

Where the Wild Things Play offers open play, birthday parties, special events, princess parties, magicians, Donuts with Santa, In-House Glow Parties, and magical character events. Children can join an Early Learners program, Busy Bees sessions, half day camps, summer camps, music classes, art classes, and field trips. The space includes seven play vignettes, a large indoor play structure with two turbo slides, a STEM screen, a toddler zone, and comfortable cafe seating for caregivers.

Where the Wild Things Play states that creating a welcoming, clean, and joyful space where children and caregivers can connect, play, and feel at home is always the top priority. It describes itself as a family business built on family values, where kindness, grace, and respect are expected from everyone who walks through the doors, and it has a Kindness Policy with the right reserved to ask anyone to leave if these values are not upheld. The business expresses gratitude for guests being part of their community. The program features a bearded dragon named Bruno, who spends most of his time in the space, exercises in the hallway, and eats meal worms, crickets, and a salad made of fruits and veggies, and a Hermann’s tortoise named Leo, who often walks up and down the hallway, prefers not to be held, enjoys bath time, and likes snacks such as kale, collard greens, and bell peppers. Where the Wild Things Play has been nominated for Simply the Best in the “Places to Take Kids” category.
