About
KE Camps offers a variety of activities that include swimming, martial arts, yoga, fitness, arts and crafts, group games, team building, Super Science, and community service projects. The program also includes golf instruction and tennis instruction as part of its activity lineup. KE Camps is described as “The Country Club Summer Camp” and operates as a small, traditional day camp with fun, structured camps where activities and facilities vary between locations.

Established in 1999, KE Camps runs over 230 camps in more than 35 states and has served more than 12,000 campers. Weekly traditions include Wacky Wednesdays with theme days such as Sherlock Holmes Day, Pajama Party, and Wild Wild West; Thankful Thursdays with community service projects; and Friday Fundays with themes such as wearing silly socks or dressing as twins. Weekly Thankful Thursday projects have included Cards for Hospitalized Kids, Alex’s Lemonade Stand, and A Million Thanks, and are set up for campers to work together on simple, fun community service initiatives. Staff use SMILE Bands to acknowledge positive attributes and to observe campers over the course of the summer.
