Mosaic Community Development Center Out-of-School-Time Programs offers academic support, enrichment activities, and a student garden program for students in grades K–8. The program also includes family events, service initiatives such as a Give Back Week, and seasonal programming.

Mosaic Community Development Center (MCDC) is a community-based nonprofit serving youth and families and is recognized as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Its mission is to empower and elevate the next generation of leaders from youth through adulthood, instilling a desire to serve and a commitment to and love for the community. MCDC’s work includes youth programming, family engagement, and community-based initiatives, along with family events, service initiatives such as a Give Back Week, and seasonal programming that bring families and community members together. MCDC works closely with local partners, schools, and community organizations to keep programming responsive and relevant and to connect families with additional resources when needed. Unique features include being the only year-round out-of-school-time provider in the City of Jeannette, the use of 5 Roots of Hope, a student garden program that teaches sustainability, nutrition, and environmental stewardship, and long-term plans for a community farm stand aimed at increasing access to fresh food in a designated food desert.
