Kennett Area Park and Recreation Board Youth Sports & Camps offers activities that include KAPRB Fall Field Hockey 2026, the 2026 Field Hockey Clinic, KAPRB High School Spring Basketball, the 2025 KAPRB JR Basketball Season, and the Southern Chester County Youth Skills Competition, which is a basketball skills competition. The program also offers the 2025 KAPRB Summer Camp, the 2025 KAPRB Summer Adventure Camp, the 2025 Kennett Field Hockey Clinic with High School Team, and a KAPRB Basketball Spirit Wear sale through an online web store during specified sale dates. Participants in the field hockey clinics are invited to train with district champs and state semi-finalists.

• Schedule: The 2026 Field Hockey Clinic runs on May 19 from 9:00–11:30 AM; the 2025 Kennett Field Hockey Clinic with High School Team runs on May 20 from 9:00–11:30 AM; the Southern Chester County Youth Skills Competition takes place on Saturday, January 17, with drop-in times from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM.
• Price: The 2026 Field Hockey Clinic costs $30; the 2025 Kennett Field Hockey Clinic with High School Team costs $30.
For the 2026 Field Hockey Clinic, players are asked to bring a mouth guard, shin guards, sneakers or turf shoes, and a stick, and are advised to pack layers such as long sleeves, sweatshirts, sweatpants, or leggings, along with water, a snack, and a reversible pinnie if they have one. For the 2025 Kennett Field Hockey Clinic with High School Team, players are asked to bring a mouth guard, shin guards, sneakers or turf shoes, water, a snack, and a reversible pinnie if they have one. For both the 2026 and 2025 field hockey clinics, payment of $30 is due on the day of the clinic by cash, Venmo (with the account provided that morning), or check made out to Kennett Athletic Boosters Club-Field Hockey.
The 2026 Field Hockey Clinic and the 2025 Kennett Field Hockey Clinic with High School Team function as fundraisers for the Kennett High School Field Hockey Program. The Southern Chester County Youth Skills Competition is held at Kennett High School – Main Gym. Thanks are given to sponsors, referees, coaches, volunteers, Kennett and Upland for gym space, and parents for the 2025 KAPRB JR Basketball Season.
The Kennett Area Park and Recreation Board has been serving the Kennett area since the mid-1950s, received its non-profit designation in 1965, and is celebrating more than 60 years of service to the Kennett area. Its mission is to improve, develop, and renovate park facilities, and to offer quality recreational programs for families of the Kennett area to enjoy. KAPRB is described as the longest running sports and recreation program in the Kennett Square community.
