Friends Virtual Programs and One-Day Events

Friends Virtual Programs and One-Day Events offers virtual kids groups, virtual teen groups for young people who stutter ages 12 to 17, virtual adult groups for 20-30 year olds, and virtual parent groups in English and Spanish. It also offers one-day events, regional one-day conferences, and an annual convention for children, teens, siblings, parents, speech-language pathologists, young people, and families.

Friends was founded in 1997. Its mission is to provide support, education, and empowerment to children and teens who stutter, their families, and clinicians. Financial assistance is available for families experiencing financial difficulties and finding the cost prohibitive for a one-day event.
