North Penn YMCA Summer Camps offer a mix of sports, games, swimming, and enrichment education. Each camp includes a variety of outdoor and recreational activities that are tailored to its site. Camps also use weekly themes.

North Penn YMCA has been a summer camp destination for Montgomery County families for decades and was established in 1955. The organization’s mission is to make the community it serves a better place to live by enriching and strengthening families, providing supervised recreation, offering learning, leadership and character development opportunities, and promoting wellness for all people, regardless of ability to pay. North Penn YMCA programs teach the core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility and are open and inclusive, welcoming people of all races, religions, incomes, and abilities, with no one turned away because of an inability to pay.
North Penn YMCA provides programs and services for children, teens, seniors, families, and those with special needs in the North Penn, Indian Valley, and Perkiomen Valley communities, including childcare, swimming, sports, group and individual exercise, character building, social activities, and volunteer opportunities. It has two main membership branches along with numerous child care sites and summer camp locations, and also provides on-site childcare at schools in two local school districts and outreach programs in multiple locations. The leadership team includes Bob Gallagher, Chief Executive Officer; Nancie DeCoursey, Chief Financial Officer; Kelsey Chau, Marketing & Financial Development Director; DonnaLea Pyrz, Insurance & Programming Specialist; Beth Welsh, Human Resources Assistant; and Sangeeta Kharbanda, Chief Operating Officer at the corporate office, along with Diane Greve, Harleysville Early Childhood Center Branch Director; Chelse Burton, Indian Valley Membership Director; Dominque Lanza, Indian Valley Wellness Director; and Wendy McLaughlin, Indian Valley Group Exercise Coordinator.
For North Penn YMCA summer camps, each registered week requires a $25 per week non-refundable deposit to reserve a child’s spot. Registration can be completed online or at a branch, and memberships can be within a family membership or as a youth program member for $50. For online registration, paperwork must be printed and mailed or dropped off to a branch, and for branch registration, printed registration forms indicating desired weeks must be dropped off at a North Penn YMCA branch.
