Step II Dance Center offers classes in Ballet, Ballet Partnering, Tap, Jazz, Theatre Dance, Hip Hop, Lyrical, African, Irish, and Reels, along with Voice and Acting. The program also includes Musical Plays, Staged Readings, Fashion Shows, and Performance Workshops. Students at Step II Dance Center range from age 3 to 82.

Step II Performing Arts Center states its mission as “Step II Performing Arts Center We Produce Performers!” The performing company associated with the program is called Step II Productions, which was established in 1994 and was founded to give students opportunities to grow in a professional atmosphere. Step II Productions has produced musical plays such as “FAME,” “42nd Street,” “Starmites,” “Footloose,” “Carnival,” “Annie,” and “Gypsy.” Step II Dance Center and its students worked with a Broadway writer and director who reworked one of his plays and they performed it for him, and the center has produced staged readings for original plays so authors could hear their work live. Step II Dance Center has held film auditions for independent film companies and has been utilized by commercial companies to hold auditions for commercial projects. Through its performance workshops, Step II Dance Center offers students chances to audition for and perform in commercials, fashion shows, TV, and film, and some students have gone on to perform in national and international tours, regional theatre, commercials, TV, film, and on Broadway. Step II Dance Center also offers dance classes for adults in addition to classes for kids. The program’s community involvement includes fashion show performances at Marisa’s Boutique in Newtown, Macy’s in Center City, Oxford Valley Mall in Langhorne, and Macy’s and Sears in local malls.
