Swan Lake Stables Lesson Program

Swan Lake Stables Lesson Program is part of a full-service hunter/jumper show stable that offers lessons, schooling, horse shows, boarding, training, and coaching. The program takes place in a barn community that includes supportive staff and riders of all levels who enjoy being around horses. The lesson program is customized for each student with an emphasis on safety and proper equitation, and riders can participate in shows for all levels of competition, including exhibitor-friendly horse shows with well maintained footing and beautiful jumps.

Swan Lake Stables Lesson Program operates within a full-service hunter/jumper show stable that offers a full-care program to suit the individual needs of each horse. The mission of Swan Lake Stables is to offer boarding, training, and coaching while focusing on riders’ personal goals for themselves and their horses, and on maintaining horses that are described as happy and healthy with willing attitudes. Each horse is treated as an individual, with personalized care and training. The leadership team includes General Manager/Trainer Mary Bast and Administrative Assistant Myra. One parent testimonial notes that Mary set up multiple fence gymnastics in cold weather for a single customer, and that the horse “jumped like dynamite,” with thanks expressed to Mary from Grace Mullen.
