Mountain View Childcare offers children activities such as creative play, art, music, pretend play, outdoor play, dancing, exercises, storytime, singing, interactive conversations, group activities, storytelling, reading, writing, phonics activities, hands-on experiments, problem-solving tasks, exploration of mathematical concepts, art projects, dramatic play, and games. Toddler rooms and classrooms include age-appropriate toys, materials, and educational resources that support exploration and learning.

Mountain View Childcare is a licensed childcare center. Programs include a Toddler Program for ages 13 months–2 years, a Preschool/Pre-K Program for ages 3–5, and a School Age Program for children in Kindergarten through 9 years old. The School Age Program includes After-School Care and Summer Camp, and the After-School Care program offers a structured yet flexible schedule that includes dedicated time for homework and for children to explore new interests.
The program focuses on noticing and expanding upon what children do naturally and challenges each child as an individual regardless of race, gender, ability, ethnicity, socio-economic standing, or religion. It supports each child’s inner motivation to learn in a child-friendly environment with meaningful experiences and recognizes the child’s family as an essential part of achieving program goals. The program emphasizes holistic development, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth, and uses a comprehensive curriculum to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond.
Staff are trained in early childhood development and first aid/CPR, and teachers are experienced professionals with specialized training in early childhood education. The program offers individualized attention with activities tailored to each toddler’s unique needs and interests, and maintains a safe and stimulating environment with age-appropriate toys and materials. Toys, surfaces, and hands are cleaned and sanitized regularly, and regular developmental assessments are used to track growth and milestones.
Families are encouraged to provide healthy and nutritious meals, snacks, and lunches. Daily updates are provided for parents on toddler activities, naps, feedings, and overall well-being, and regular parent-teacher meetings and conferences are offered. Tours and visits are encouraged for prospective families.
