About
Elysian Fields Summer Horsemanship Day Camps offers week-long day camps where campers learn the foundation of good horsemanship, including safety around horses, groundwork, gaining the trust of the animal, and what it is like to own a horse. Campers take part in riding lessons such as riding bareback and riding in the Western saddle, along with horse care, youth horsemanship classes, and other fun horse-related activities. The program also includes making new friends, building teamwork skills, meet and greets with the horses, a pizza party on Friday, performing for guests at Friday's graduation show, and receiving a graduation certificate and other goodies.

• Schedule: Week-long day camps, Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, offered all summer long as classes are filled
• Price: $50 OFF for each additional Camper when enrolled together.
Elysian Fields Summer Horsemanship Day Camps offers half-day enrollment for ages 5–7 and full-day enrollment for ages 6–17. Everything is provided for campers, including helmets, snacks, and lunches, and all staff and riders are required to wear helmets and protective clothing. The summer camp program is described as completely immersive and includes riding lessons, horse care, and other fun horse-related activities, and there are also options for birthday parties, private lessons, small group youth and adult classes, Winter, Spring and Summer Youth Day Camps, and 2-hour small group classes for kids. All staff and riders follow rules that include regular inspection and maintenance of the horses, and veterinarian and farrier services are on call with group rates available. Owners LeeAnn and Rob live on-site, are always available for the needs of clients and horses, and, along with their staff, are dedicated and experienced in horse care and stable management.
Elysian Fields Equestrian Center is insured and is listed as an elite horse boarding farm in the Montoursville, PA horse boarding directory on NewHorse.com. The program does not offer public trail rides or one-time rides, and trail riding is only offered to current students enrolled in the lesson program once they have reached and proven a certain level of riding capability in the indoor arena. Meet and greets with the horses are free of charge and by appointment only, and the horses request guests bring apples or carrots. Gift certificates and package deals are available online, along with an online store that offers Elysian Fields hoodies, T-shirts, hats, mugs, tumblers, tack, and more.
